Sustainable resort

A Hotel Designed for Responsible Travellers in Pinarello

The design of this luxury hotel, particularly its rooms & suites, was guided by a commitment to sustainable construction and responsible consumption. The priority has been to pursue ethical hospitality that respects the environment.

The interior furniture, paneling, and chevron-patterned doors were custom-made from carefully selected and recycled wood, giving new life to material steeped in the history of old mountain shelters and farmhouses. The motorized window fittings automatically deactivate the air conditioning when opened.

The oak used for the hotel’s terraces comes from repurposed railroad freight cars, while the teak in the outdoor furniture is sourced from sustainably managed forests dedicated to responsible timber harvesting.

Finally, the stone featured throughout the property is quarried directly on the island to minimize the environmental impact of material transportation.
